About This Course
Odaiba is Tokyo's artificial island district in Tokyo Bay, and its seaside promenade is one of the most scenic and relaxed running environments in the city. The 5 km out-and-back course (extendable to 10 km) follows the bay shoreline between Odaiba Beach Park and Shiokaze Park, with the iconic Rainbow Bridge as a constant backdrop. The path is wide, flat, and almost entirely paved, with a sandy beach section that adds variety. Unlike busier central Tokyo routes, Odaiba is uncrowded during weekday mornings. The cool sea breeze makes it a comfortable option even in summer. Sunset runs here are particularly rewarding, as the Rainbow Bridge and the city across the bay are bathed in golden light. After your run, the shopping malls at DiverCity and Aqua City provide convenient access to cafes and restaurants.
How to Get There
