Official websiteTips for Using Running Stations
- 1Book in advance if possible. Popular stations (especially ASICS RUNBASE and Joglis) can fill up on weekday mornings and weekends. Check websites for reservation options.
- 2Bring ¥1,000–¥2,000 in cash. Some older stations do not accept credit cards or IC cards for locker payment.
- 3Check opening hours before you go. Most stations close early in the evening. Sunday hours are often shorter than weekday hours.
- 4Station coin lockers are a free alternative. Every major train station in Tokyo has coin lockers (¥300–¥700). These cover bag storage for courses without a nearby dedicated running station.
